Perhaps the best Summer Olympics in the last decades. London took it, again! at least it was quite entertaining. Great Opening Ceremony, excellent two weeks of high-rated sport, but a downgraded Closing Ceremony. A message of fun and entertainment by the Western (Anglo Saxon) standards! But what did the rest of the non-Western world thought about it? A tasteless gyrations of Pop Culture with wannabe be figures (some already dead and buried) that was aimed for a younger audience. Looking quite visually impressive and grand but that was actually shallow and empty. But, as usually, London will always finds something to sell you before you live the town. In this case, British Pop!
