Don’t you just hate when things just change without warning. Without letting us know that the sofa which for a long time we use to sit down. The place where for indeterminable hours we used to relax and reflect about the meaning of art, of life, of death, of social discourses and, anything that simply occurs to our mind during this ascertained moments. Don’t you just hate that? When, without knowing and for some managerial or administrative reason things just change without notice. They just changed my cosy and comfortable sofa in one of the main rooms at the National Gallery for a time constraining and uncomfortable wooden bench.

Now, how can I keep on appreciating the painting that I most admire from Velázquez without this gentle and caring space?
