Das quais se destaca os Colares e Barcas Velhas da década de 60, vinhos do Porto de 1870 a 2000, Madeiras de 1795 a 1948, Carcavelos da Quinta do Barão e da Quinta da Bela Vista, raríssimas garrafas de Cognac, clássicos mundiais como os Sauternes ou o mítico Petrus e uma importante colecção de Aguardentes Portuguesas e de Whiskies de Malte. Os lotes não têm valor mínimo de licitação e são vendidos à melhor oferta dos presentes no local, ou às licitações efectuadas pelo telefone ou previamente por escrito.

A plataforma Underdogs e a Vera Cortês Agência de Arte têm o prazer de anunciar o lançamento do livro que acompanha a exposição Underdogs, patente na Agência de Arte Vera Cortês, em Lisboa, até dia 15 de Janeiro de 2011.

A festa de lançamento terá lugar no bar Odessa (Av. Infante D. Henrique – Armazém B, LJ.9, Sta. Apolonia) em Lisboa, dia 17 de Dezembro de 2010, pelas 22 horas. O evento contará com a presença de um DJ Set de Orelha Negra e prolongar-se-á até às 4 horas do dia 18 de Dezembro.

O livro, um trabalho com investigação e escrita de Miguel Moore, jornalista e autor ligado à arte urbana, e direcção de arte e design de Miguel Januário, designer gráfico e artista urbano, aborda o trabalho dos artistas incluídos nesta primeira mostra da plataforma Underdogs: ± (mais menos), Adres, Kusca, Mar, Obey, Ram, Smart Bastard, Sphiza, Tosco e Alexandre Farto/Vhils.

With approximately fifteenth thousand visitors to Lisbon Art Fair - these belong to their public more than to entrepreneurial business associations or hollow promotion strategies implemented by ramshackle houses - the market has surprised everyone. Apart for the supranational reasons that had keep occupied the national and global media at the previous fair's place, the paradox lies in that although Portugal is living through moments of deep sociological crises and in a time of intense financial difficulty, art lovers came and have bought a lot more than in previous years, whilst collectors and art dealers have engaged in greater than normal financial risks. Gladly! People understand that if they have cash it is better to buy art works - instead of putt it in a bank which bring very little interest, while the stock market is a tricky place to gamble. In the end, art and real estate are very good investment funds. Art is not only a good investment, but you will have an artwork on your wall which you can look at everyday and which brings awesome pleasure.

Being both musician and artist, Nico Vascellari combines his sculptural installations with sound performances. Through his performances he investigates the relation between the viewer, the space and the action. He is drawn to cult figures connected to the music scene with whom he collaborates or to which he reacts in his work. Inspired by his fascination with rituals, spiritualism and cult, he reflects on the thought of destruction as a driving energy to the construction of things. This leads him into the idea of mapping spaces, energies, sounds and nature, all of which are central themes in his work. [...]

Nico Vascellari (Born in Vittorio Veneto, Italy in 1976) is a hardcore punk musician and a visual artist. Vascellari work's with different media including performance, sculpture, video, sound installation and collage. In 2005 Vascellari was awarded “The First International Prize for Performance_01D” and in 2007 was short-listed for the Furla Prize. His work has been exhibited at the “DB Collection Italy”, Deutsche Bank, Milan and “Apocalittici e Integrati”, MAXXI Museum, Rome. His work was included in the 52nd Venice Biennial (where he was awarded the Prize for Italian Art) the Manifesta (2008) and the Quadriennale di Roma (2008). He also presented a performance at Marina Abramovic Institute in 2010.
