Madrid's main trendsetter was the new satellite fair, Just Madrid (18-21 February) which attracted "young collectors with an interesting profile - miles from the crowd that has characterised Arco," according to Jorge Viegas of 3+1 Arte Contemporânea, one of the 25 galleries exhibiting. With prices ranging from €500 to €20,000, Just Madrid was an "excellent complement to Madrid's main art fair", said Cristina Navarro from Berlin's Invaliden1 Gallery whose sales included a Santiago Ydáñez painting for €5,000 to a private collector.
